The logo for the Istanbul 2027 European Games, the first major international sporting event of the new century of the Republic of Türkiye, was inspired by the crescent and star of our national flag.
We brought together the crescent and star—one of the most powerful symbols of the Republic of Türkiye—with the vibrant identity of Istanbul, a global city and a rising international brand.
A city that unites two continents, Istanbul will now showcase the unifying power of sport to Europe and the world.
Designed by Adam Yunisov, the creator of the logo for the inaugural Baku 2015 European Games, the Istanbul 2027 European Games emblem continues this legacy with a new vision for Türkiye's landmark sporting event.
